ASTRA v1.0.0 Released

We are pleased to announce the first official release of the ASTRA Agent Programming Language (v1.0.0).

ASTRA is an implementation of AgentSpeak(TR+ER) which combines AgentSpeak(L) with Teleo-Reactive (TR) programming and provides support for Encapsulated Rules (ER). It is built on top of the Java Programming Language and provides a high-level programming language for implementing Intelligent Agents that is compiled down to pure Java code.

Compilation of agents is supported through the Maven Build System and all the main components of ASTRA have been released through Maven Central.

To learn about ASTRA, you can read our growing suite of How-To Guides or alternatively explore a range of example applications which are hosted on GitLab.com alongside all the ASTRA source code.

ASTRA comes with integrations for the Environment Interface Standard (EIS) and CArtAgO. Example applications that use these integrations can also be found here.

Finally, information on how to use ASTRA to build Multi-Agent MicroServices can be found here.

If you have any problems with ASTRA, please feel free to post a question to our Q&A forum or report any bugs via the Gitlab.com issue tracker.
